Last year, Birmingham Group Health Services,
Inc. (BGHS) celebrated our 30th Anniversary as a community-based, non-profit
mental health service provider. In honor of this milestone, and in an effort
to raise awareness about the vital services provided by BGHS, the 30th
Anniversary Path of Hope traveling mural was created. The mural,
created with help from Joseph Merritt & Company, and sponsored by The
Valley Community Foundation, features pictures and testimony from BGHS
consumers whose lives have been changed with help from BGHS.
Over the next 12 months, the Path of Hope Mural
will be displayed at public venues across the community and the state.
