The Path of Hope Campaign
The goal of the Path of Hope
Campaign is to raise $30,000 over the next year...
Each year...
the demand for our services
continues to increase, while federal and state funding continues to
decrease. Most recently, the impact of a struggling economy has hit us
doubly hard. As more and more citizens find themselves in crisis and in need
for services, BGHS must search out new avenues of revenue to replace
traditional funding sources and keep pace with growing community needs.
How you can help...You
can help BGHS continue in its role as a critical safety net to those in
need, by making a donation to the Path of Hope Campaign. No donation is too
large or too small and every dollar will mean so much to an individual,
family, or child in need. For example:
~ A $30 donation will help provide a BGHS
consumer with a monthly CT Transit Bus pass, so that he/she can get to and
from work.
~ A $300 donation will help provide 5
nights of emergency safe shelter for a woman and her children fleeing
domestic abuse.
~ A $1,300 donation will provide an
entire day of alcohol, drug, and/or tobacco use prevention presentations at
a local school.
~ A $3,000 donation will help provide one
month of medication for a person or child with special needs.
~ And a $30,000 donation will help elders
who are being abused, obtain safety and support services for 6 months.
If you would like further
information regarding the BGHS Path of Hope Campaign, or would like to learn
about other giving or volunteer opportunities at BGHS, please contact the
BGHS Development Department at (203) 736-2601, ext. 360.
Thank you for your
continued support of our organization and mission. Together, we are truly
changing and saving lives!
